MMSS Alum Talks Tech with Students
Paul Lee (WCAS ’97), partner at Lightbank, a prominent tech investment fund in Chicago, visited Evanston recently and generously took the time to meet with a group of students who are keenly interested in venture capital and the Chicago start-up community. Paul offered lots of helpful advice and insights and encouraged students to think outside the box. “It was a great pleasure meeting Mr. Lee - he is a very energetic and charismatic person. Our conversation gave me some new ideas about my future career paths, for which I'm very grateful,” commented Weinberg senior Eric Zhang. The MMSS Program would like to thank Paul and the NU Office of Alumni Relations for making this event possible.

About the MMSS Program
Founded in 1978, Northwestern's unique MMSS Program allows a select group of high ability students to combine the study of social sciences with rigorous training in mathematics, statistics, and formal modeling. The program allows students gifted in mathematics to explore fields beyond math and science, and prepares them to succeed in graduate study and in a wide variety of careers in the social sciences and business.
