Founded in 1978, Northwestern's unique MMSS Program allows a select group of high ability students to combine the study of social sciences with rigorous training in mathematics, statistics, and formal modeling. The program allows students gifted in mathematics to explore fields beyond math and science, and prepares them to succeed in a wide variety of careers in the social sciences and in business. MMSS provides excellent preparation for graduate study in the social or managerial sciences. It also provides ideal preparation for students planning to enroll in one of the Kellogg Undergraduate Certificate Programs in their junior or senior year.
